Digital Retinal Imaging
We have retinal imaging technology to assess conditions of the retina including damages from diabetes in the eyes, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. These conditions can be followed closely to assess progression.
Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)
We offer the Cirrus HD-OCT which is a non-invasive imaging test that uses light waves to take cross-section pictures of your retina, the light-sensitive tissue lining the back of the eye. This allows us to detect early changes in the eyes that may not be observable through a regular eye exam. This instrument is valuable in tracking diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, retinal holes and diabetic retinopathy. It is even useful for measuring diseases in the cornea, the clear dome-shaped surface that covers the front of the eye.
A visual field test is an eye examination that can detect dysfunction in central and peripheral vision which may be caused by various medical conditions such as glaucoma, stroke, brain tumors or other neurological deficits.
